By contributing to the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra,
each individual plays their part in shaping the artistic future
of the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra. We offer several options
for individual giving:
- Become a Member with
a gift to the KSO Fund.
- Remember or honor someone special with a
Tribute gift.
- Name a chair or program.
- Include the KSO in your
will or trust and leave a lasting legacy.
Membership
The KSO Fund provides the financial resources necessary to
help bring music to 90,000 people each year. The Fund is comprised
of contributions made by over 1,250 individuals, businesses,
foundations, and grant organizations. The Fund is the largest
source of annual income (40%) for the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra.
Public support provided by the Fund, combined with endowment
income (31%) and earned income such as ticket sales (29%),
help finance over 600 music and educational activities each
year.
A gift to the KSO Fund qualifies for Membership. As a benefit
of Membership, we offer the following opportunities to learn
more about our music and musicians, and to enjoy your Symphony
experience.

A contribution of any amount to the Symphony
made in remembrance of someone is a gift that will keep on
giving for many years to come. The Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra

in our Season Program. Such gifts are applied towards the
Symphony’s Endowment, which will help support KSO concerts
and educational programs in perpetuity.
