now offers Travel Insurance to all interested students, available from
your first day of classes onwards. The insurance offers a range of coverage,
including death, disability, medical costs and repatriation of remains. Sample costs (see complete spreadsheet below): For persons between 18 and 46 years of age. Travel insurance for $10,000 in medical costs and $100,000 insurance, will cost: 1 week - $21, 4 weeks - $42, 12 weeks - $76 Travel insurance for $2.500 in medical costs and $25.000 in life insurance will cost: 1 week - $6 4 weeks - $11 12 weeks - $20 NOTE: You must schedule a meeting with the insurance company for your first Monday in Heredia, and upon payment you will be issued your insurance card. You may want to consider buying additional airline travel insurance if you wish to be covered during your flight down to Costa Rica and any days you will be in the country before your first day of classes. You may also schedule a meeting with the insurance agent the week before you start, providing you arrive by 5pm Friday.
