Do I get to
see a "sample" before you print my order?
Yes. After you place your order, you will receive an

how your artwork will appear on the actual product that you are ordering.
On the "Artwork Review" web page, you have the opportunity to approve or disapprove
your proposed artwork/layout. Production does not begin on your order until
we receive an artwork approval from you. Here is a link to a "sample" artwork

PRINTING
FAQ's:
My design has more than 1 color, do you make multi-color transfers?
No. WE DON'T MAKE MULTI-COLOR TRANSFERS--WE ONLY MAKE
1 COLOR TRANSFERS. Your transfers can be made with any one of our available
ink colors. The reason is simple, one color designs are the least costly,
the easiest and fastest to produce--this is what most customers want.
I want different color versions of my design, can you do that?
Yes. We can print your design using a different color
of ink but you must order a minimum of (12) transfers per color. There is
an ink change charge of $18 for each ink color change.
Will the printing fade on my shirts after a few washings?
No. The printed image is created using screen printing
ink. The transfers, if applied properly are very durable and will hold up
for a long time. "Wash" tests that we've conducted in our shop have shown
that the transfer prints are durable and hold up to many washings. The image
once transferred to your shirts, will not peel off and can't be otherwise
removed.
Are your transfers like the kind that I can "make at home" with my inkjet
printer?
No. Our transfers are printed on industrial screen printing machines using
screen printing ink (plastisol ink) and printed onto special transfer paper.
You cannot make these at home.
Will the transfers only print the design on my shirts and not a "paper border?"
Yes. The only thing that will transferred to the shirt
is your design. None of the paper is transferred to the shirt. Our transfers
do not work like inkjet transfers you have probably made at home that use
a "clear film" carrier to hold the image. With our transfers only the printed
image on the transfer paper is transferred to the garment, none of the paper.
Do you supply instructions showing me how to apply the transfers to my shirts?
Yes. We provide written, detailed, step by step instructions
with every order.
Can the transfers be applied with an iron?
No. You will get unpredictable results if you attempt to apply them with
an iron. Our transfers must be applied with an industrial heat press.
Do you sell heat presses?
No.

GENERAL FAQ’s:
What is the difference between hot split and cold peel transfers?
The
outstanding features of Hot-Split Transfers are that they are very easy to
apply and leave a soft hand feel to the imprint on the shirt. There is no
"rubbery" feel or look to Hot-Split transfers--they look just like the image
was directly screen printed on the shirt. The only drawback to Hot Split Transfers
is that they have a low opacity, and must be used on white, ash gray, or very
light pastel colors. If you need a high opacity print on your shirts (e.g.:
a white print on a black shirt), you will need to use Cold Peel Transfers.
Cold
Peel Transfers offer a totally opaque print and can be used on any color of
garment and all colors of ink are available including metallics, shimmers,
etc. in any one color of your choice. They also work very well on hats and
other difficult to print items. The drawback to Cold Peel Transfers is that
have a heavier "rubbery" feel, as all of the ink is deposited onto the garment.
Also, the transfer can't be peeled until it is totally cold, which means they
take a little longer to print than Hot Split Transfers.

Do you sell transfer paper?
No. We only sell custom printed transfers. We do not
sell blank transfer paper.
I
notice that the transfers can be rubbed off the paper. Is this normal?
Yes. The "transfers" are nothing more than a thin film
of ink that is printed onto the transfer paper. You must take care in handling
them as they can become damaged.
Can I get free samples of your transfers?
No. Due to the huge number of requests that we receive
for free samples, we no longer ship free transfers. We will be happy to
send sample transfers along with your paid order upon request at no extra
charge.
Do
you have a catalog of your transfer designs?
No, we do not offer a catalog. Our custom designs can be found here: http://www.berda.com/design_center.shtml

Do
you take overseas orders?
Yes. We take overseas orders. For security issues, there are certain restrictions on the orders that we will accept and how we ship them.
On all international orders payment must be made by credit card. We accept Visa, Master Card, and Discover. We do not accept American Express. On ALL credit card orders, we require that our credit card authorization document (document is in Adobe PDF format). be completed and returned prior to production of your order.
Our standard method of shipping international orders is by USPS (United States Postal Service) Parcel Post Economy Rate, or via UPS. The typical time frame for delivery via Parcel Post Economy is three to eight weeks. Faster rates of delivery are available, however they are more costly and not available in all areas.
We reserve the right to refuse any order without reason. In addition, there are certain countries that we are unable to ship to.
